Ameristeel is a full-service steel service center based in Fraser, Michigan, specializing in flat-rolled steel products for the automotive industry. We supply production steel and prototype steel to OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and stamping operations across Metro Detroit and Michigan.

Whether you need a single coil for prototyping or truckload quantities for production, our team has the inventory, expertise, and mill relationships to deliver the right material on time and on spec. Our steel brokering services can also source hard-to-find automotive grades from our extensive mill network. The difference matters: production steel buyers get scheduled deliveries, JIT programs, and volume pricing from our stocked inventory, while prototype steel buyers get fast turnaround, no minimums, and expert material guidance. For grades we don't stock, our brokering team sources from domestic and international mills with full traceability.
